Well said, Kassandra! That Wendell Berry quote stuck with me as well and I have been turning it over in my mind since our last session. I appreciate how you described Lenore’s teaching as being a “fuller vision” for the interconnectedness of all creation. I always understood the idea that all things were connected, but something about the way she framed it in addition to how she layered in Imago Dei theology really resonated with me. Than you for your reflection!!

Thank you for your reflection, Brigid! I looked into this water research and WOW! I’ve always been someone who talks and sings to the creatures and plants around me because I believed that it had an impact on their well-being. But I had no idea something could be happening on the molecular level to support this. This revelation has really heightened my awareness of how I interact with everyone and everything around me.

Thank you Colin for sharing this: “I had compassion and admiration for him. Life had asked him to carry things that I don’t think I could carry.” What a powerful challenge for us to consider that people have life paths put upon them, not always of their choosing. When a way of living is all that you have ever seen or known, how would you know that there is any other way? I want to add this quote and question to help me consider how MAGA proponents arrived at their beliefs.

Steve, this flyer is such a perfect example the unholy fusion of faith and our military system that is celebrated in our country. We teach our children at such a young age that state endorsed violence is synonymous to patriotism. Lord have mercy, indeed!
