There are so many areas of our social order being dismantled right now. Given the composition of our peer group, and that I have other close friends in higher education, and my daughter is working her way through college by working in teaching and research positions, AND a large portion of our local faith community works in the public schools or the local university, the education cuts have been consistently on my mind and breaking my heart. So many people will be impacted … and these are all God’s beloved. You are God’s beloved. Cling to your belovedness!

I will continue be awake and alert, to listen, and to use my voice however I am able.
