I appreciate the “conversion” idea and how dynamic it is rather than static. Conversion is not a one time thing but an ongoing deepening. The more we know the people of God the more we know God. I wonder if this can change my interactions with folks who aren’t as easy for me to love right now.

And, that it requires a death to do so. (insert terror) Even in how that idea cuts me to the quick, it lately invites me to look in the face of suffering and find hope in the most unlikely places.
