H.G. Wells once said of Jesus, “Either there was something truly mad about this man or our hearts are still too small for what he was trying to say.” I love that idea. Either loving our enemies is insane, or our hearts are too small for that kind of holiness. What heightens my hope is seeing everyone here with a heart that feels big enough for the hard work of peacebuilding. I’m really looking forward to our adventures together. ❤️🕊️
