What a remarkable post. Thank you for the labor it took to put this out there for us. It offers permission to us to meet you in this and I’m so grateful. I’m drawn to your noticing that in Jesse’s story, there was an infliction point…a moment that seemingly generated seismic shifting in his understanding of whose he is, who he is, and what is his to do. As you reflect on your journey, can you recall an inflection moment? Or do you sense that it (or another) is on the horizon?

I am often so hesitant to know how to be a peacemaker. I don’t want to play defense or sit on the sidelines. I resonate with your words – I want to be with Jesus where He is working.

May God take each of our hearts and reshape them so that we can join in Jesus’ work.
