A good word here. I’m struck by how, when we think we have something figured out, we other/enemy those who have yet to figure it out. In so doing, we tend to other/enemy those in our communities of origin (family members, former guides, faith communities, etc.). In my experience, there have been many whom I’ve dehumanized and sabotaged relationships with. I’ve had to find the character and humility to return to those relationships and engage in the work of interpersonal peacemaking. I wonder if you’ve had any time to consider if there are any who have been steam-rolled by the “enlightened you” and if there’s any work of interpersonal repair that is important to explore with them.
